Furry

This word has 2 meanings (both valid, and work according to their context):

• As a noun: The representation of anthropomorphic (nonhuman) animals. Among the animals are those of the real world, are also the fictitious as the pokémon, non-human digimon, among others (see pokephilia).
• As an attributive adjective: Person who likes the aforementioned meaning, can be for artistic, scientific or sexual reasons.

A furry must always be a hybrid between human and animal, they are not considered pure species (members of the furry community contemptuously consider as zoophilic those who like pure animals):

• 

  Hybridization with a cat.

• 

  Hybridization with a fox.

• 

  A brony inevitably is also within the furry category.

The term "macro" in the Furry community

• Inside this community, furries often use the term "macro" to refer giant sized beings. They rarely use terms like "giant" or "giantess".
• To be more specific, giant furries are called "macrofurries" (singular: "macrofurry").

The Furry community uses the month of March to "celebrate" macrophilia. It can be seen on Twitter under the hashtag "#MacroMarch".

• The vast majority of furry art involves furry beings based on foxes and wolves.
