Jungle of Ikou! (ジ ャ ン グ ル い こ う!, Ikō Janguru !?) (literally Let's Go to the Jungle!) is an anime fanservice directed by Yuji Moriyama in 1997. It was approved in the United States by Media Blasters and published on DVD and VHS in 2001.

Natsumi is a ten-year-old girl whose father is archaeologist in New Guinea. One day after returning from an expedition, Natsumi's father brings her as a souvenir a small statue with two precious stones that she turns into her earrings. What he does not know is that in doing so he has broken the seal that imprisoned the God of Ongo Destruction, so the god of the woods Ahem appears in her dreams to give him the important mission of facing him when he can. To do this you will have the help of a skull pendant that will turn you into the Spirit of Mii flowers.

Summary (with spoilers)

Natsumi (the protagonist) and her friends are bored at school, in a gym class, waiting for the summer holidays to start. Suddenly Natsumi's father appears, who offers them a ticket to the exhibition of his archaeological discoveries concerning New Guinea.

Before leaving for the exhibition, Natsumi asks Ongo and Rongo not to follow her. They disobey, but before retiring, they notice that the plants are dying quickly.

Meanwhile, in New Guinea, the god Ahem realizes that something strange is happening, so he decides to rush to Japan. Something is about to "wake up."

In Japan, in parallel, Natsumi and her friends (including Ongo and Rongo as inflitrados) are on display, inside a building that parodies Tokyo Big Sight.

Ongo, from the Natsumi slope, sees the logo of the exhibition. This causes him to lose control, the lights go out and he suddenly leaves his "hiding place". Natsumi's friend tries to catch him, but when he does, Ongo begins to transform into a giant monster and absorbing Natsumi's friend. Ongo had become what he feared all this time: the god of destruction.

Natsumi and her friend transform respectively into Mii and Rongo respectively, and with their powers try to stop the monster, whose route is supposedly to a nuclear plant.

When you get to where Ongo is, he attacks them. She manages to hide in an alley. Suddenly, Ahem appears and asks Mii to show her true power by being a "maternal spirit" through a dance.

Appear the spirits (with baby forms and decrepit elders), these dance with Mii. The dance works, making her tits first grow (semi-GTS), then her whole body grows perfectly. Mii acquires her giant size (almost ultra size).

Mii does not know what to do, but she realizes that humans are photographing her. Mii is disturbed and destroyed without taking part of the city and crushing some people.

Rongo tells Mii not to waste time and attack Ongo, but the monster attacks first by throwing energy at him, but Mii manages to defend with a similar AT field defense from Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Ongo returns to throw him energy, managing to reach Mii, but destroying her clothes instead of hurting her. Given this, Mii is vulnerable.

The monster tries to attack her, but suffers from an internal mental conflict, since she has Ongo's mind as that of Natsumi's friend. Ongo wants to destroy because yes, while the other wants to touch Mii's tits. She realizes this and embraces the monster, managing to appease him.

However, the monster body appears a malignant spectrum that was not "hypnotized" by the charms of Mii. This new monster is quickly defeated by Ahem. Ahem celebrates his victory dancing in front of everyone.

Everything goes back to normal. Mii returns to her normal size, but Ongo and Natsumi's friend are "united" from the head.

Natsumi's father and his companions compile the destroyed city, meditating on the prophecy that they knew would happen, and that it is also "the fault" of Natsumi's father.

Trivia

  • In the first episode mention of the giant size by a fallacy: as the father the protagonist had not seen his daughter in years and noticed that he increased 3 centimers in height, he assumed that she would have 3 meters high in 3 years.
    • Ironically he did not need to wait so long to see that happen, although with more size.
  • In all three episodes of this short anime, there is a GTS theme.
  • The place where the return of the god of destruction takes place is in a building similar to Tokyo Big Sight.
