Relative size
Relative size is a dimensionless measure that geometrically compares the size of two beings (preferred humanoids). That is, it is the quotient between the absolute size of a being with the absolute size of another being, which results in a positive real number without physical dimension.
In the GTS community, although this numerical value is dimensionless, it is usually accompanied by the letter "x", which means "the number of times the original height (of the non-giant being) must be multiplied to reach the giantess' height".
By convention, it is sought that this number be greater than 1, that is, it is preferred to divide the height of the giant being over the height of the non-giant being. On special occasions, they prefer to do it the other way around (and thus get a number less than 1), but it usually happens when the focus is on a shrinking being.
For example:
-
Ohtori Vivienne, when she is a normal human, she is 1.68 meters (officially).
-
Ohtori Vivienne, when she is a giant super-heroine, she is 33.6 meters (officially).
We must divide the height of her when she is giant over her height when she is normal size:
(33.6 m)/(16.8 m) = 20x
Note that by dividing these heights, the result is dimensionless, since the measure in meters of the numerator and denominator are eliminated from each other. The letter "x" added is an ornament (its meaning has already been explained).
- CONCLUSION: The relative size of Ohtori Vivienne as giantess is 20x.
Convertion from absolute size to relative size
By convention, we are going to divide the size of a giant over 1.75 meters, which is the height of the average European (of any sex). The result is this:
