Chou Dokyuu Shoujo 4946 (超弩級少女4946 in kanji), tranlated as Super-Dreadnought Girl 4946 outside Japan, is a manga created by Takeshi Azuma serialized in the Shōnen Sunday Super magazine.

It is a manga that involves an artificial giantess, Mana Eimiya (49.46 meters, i.e., 162.27 feet) tall, as the protagonist, who has fallen in love with Makoto Tobita, although the only problem is that he is 40 times smaller than she is in size.

Synopsis

Makoto Tobita is a teenager who has been rejected countlessly in his confessions of love due to his small size and hot blooded nature, but still, does not surrender and always looks for his ideal girl who, as he dreams, "smiles." However, something unexpected for him happens one day, his school is attacked by a giant monster (of which there were already rumors before that day), and when Makoto thinks that he is about to die, a girl arrives to save it, contrary to What he had done so far.

However...that something for Makoto is disturbing is the fact that the girl who saved him is a girl of 49.46 meters (162.27 Feet) tall, which asks him to retire so that he is not hurt while she fights, however Makoto decides to stay and "help" the girl, but in the end only ends up giving discomfort and the girl (whose name is Mana Eimiya) ends up beating the monster without needing his help.

At the end of that day, Makoto is in a strange situation, because Mana confesses to him to have fallen in love with him at that moment, asking him to be his boyfriend, and at that moment Makoto thinking of his dream of "if such a girl smiled at me... ", believes that it is his lucky day and he accepts, still emphasizing the restlessness of the enormous size of Mana.

Makoto Tobita isn't giantess fetishist

Although Makoto Tobita becomes the boyfriend of Mana Eimiya, the giantess protagonist, he is not a giantess fetishist or macrophile, since he himself at the beginning of the manga reveals that he simply looks for a girlfriend, and that she likes women very much , and if a girl like that smiled at her, she would surely love her.

So, when meeting Mana, this would be the first girl to comply with that, and suddenly this confesses that he has fallen in love with him the moment they met, so despite the fact that at first Makoto is not entirely happy with the sudden confession, agrees to become her boyfriend because it is the first time a girl smiles or asks for something like that, and again, Makoto stresses that his girlfriend is a girl of 49.46 meters (162.27 Feet) Tall.

Trivia

  • The most likely is that the mangaka Takeshi Azuma (main author) and production team in general have no relation to the GTS community, because Azuma owns several works more recognized and of all only Super-Dreadnought Girl 4946 treats GTS-thematic, in addition, during the manga is used the term "Giant Girl" instead of "Giantess".
  • Next to Onideka!, it is considered one of the best mangas with GTS theme, however, although this is not as popular among the GTS community.
  • The friend of the protagonist, Kanehito, may be a macrophile or giantess fetishist, as he seems to show a certain fascination when seeing Mana.
